“Ihe question of security is deeply linked to the responsible left, to which I belong. Life in society is based on rules. Respect for property and people is one of them, guaranteed by the police. The responsibility of the left is to respond to the problems of the victims, otherwise the extreme right takes care of it by exploiting their suffering. Support for police and gendarmerie officials must also be part of the discourse of the left. The way Jean-Luc Mélenchon cast suspicion on a police officer a few days ago is unspeakable.
