On December 9th, the late Kirk Douglas would have been 104 years old. His family paid tribute to him on Instagram on the special day.
Hollywood star Kirk Douglas ("Spartacus") died on February 5, 2020 at the age of 103. On his birthday on December 9th, his family remembered the deceased acting legend with emotional posts on Instagram.

"Happy Birthday, Dad. I miss you. Thank you for always giving me the best advice," wrote Kirk Douglas' son Michael Douglas (76) in his post. He also provided a small clip with pictures showing the father-son team through the years. In the background Michael Douglas tells the advice his father gave him: "Whatever you do, always do it as best you can. You have to leave every job with the feeling that you gave it your all. And then don't look back, you did your best. "
Catherine Zeta-Jones
Michael Douglas' wife Catherine Zeta-Jones (51), the two celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary in mid-November, also had a close relationship with the acting icon. "I miss you every day," she wrote of a picture of Kirk Douglas kissing her on the cheek.

Michael Douglas' son Cameron (41) also remembered the late head of the Hollywood family. In a video he collected various recordings of his grandfather, including a picture with great-granddaughter Lua Izzy (2) and an excerpt from his speech about the honorary Oscar for his life's work. Douglas commented on the video, "Happy Birthday Pappy. I miss and love you."
