Actor Michael Douglas has become a grandfather for the second time. Son Cameron and his partner are happy to have a little boy.

Hollywood star Michael Douglas (76, "Basic Instinct") can look forward to an addition to the family. His son Cameron Douglas (42) gave him another grandchild. As the 42-year-old announced on Tuesday (December 22nd) via Instagram, partner Viviane Thibes (42) gave birth to a boy. "Landing on planet Earth. Welcome, my son Ryder T. Douglas," he wrote to a photo of the small family.

While Thibes, with whom Douglas has been in a relationship since 2016, holds the newborn in his arms, the new father of two grins visibly proudly at the camera. The family is completed by daughter Lua (3), who looks a little skeptical in the background of the picture.

Cameron Douglas comes from Michael Douglas' first marriage to Diandra Luker (65). Since 2000, the woman at the actor's side has been called Catherine Zeta-Jones (51, "Terminal"). They have the children Carys (17) and Dylan (20) together.
