As often in the NBA, number 23 is linked to Michael Jordan and this new edition of NBA 2K23 will not escape this rule since the former Bulls will be on the cover of special editions of the game. 2K therefore took no risk in naming the best player of all time on the cover of the Michael Jordan edition and the Championship edition, the different special versions of the game. Note that according to several leaks, Devin Booker would be on the cover of the basic edition of NBA 2K23, although the studio has yet to confirm this information.

After being highlighted from the 2K11 edition, Michael Jordan therefore finds coverage of the NBA franchise with the new NBA 2K23. The legendary Bulls and Wizards player will therefore be present with many versions (rookie year, year 90, etc.) and potentially challenges linked to his exploits, as was the case in previous editions.
He succeeds a list of players for the NBA 75th anniversary edition, including Kareem Abdul Jabbar but also Kobe Bryant for the Mamba Forever edition of NBA 2K2021.
A release date for NBA 2K23?
As of now, no official release date has been announced. However, the opuses of the NBA 2K franchise generally come out around beginning of septemberbetween the first and second week.
