Cult moderator Michael Schanze has made a rare appearance. He said about his health problems: “It’s going up.”

Moderator Michael Schanze (76) made a rare appearance at the premiere of the Ralph Siegel musical “A Little Peace – Summer of Love” in Füssen. He also spoke about health problems. He has back pain and has trouble walking the 76-year-old explained in an RTL interview. But he added: “It’s improving. I just need patience.”

In 2019 he had severe lung problems

The TV star had previously been seriously ill. In 2019, Schanze had a pulmonary embolism and then pneumonia. He had to spend almost half a year in a hospital in Munich he later explained “Bunte”: “I think it didn’t take much and I wouldn’t have come back home.”

Michael Schanze, who became famous through the quiz show “1, 2 oder 3” (1977-1985), was not only successful on TV. Musicals and the theater are also among the areas of activity of the musician, actor and moderator.
