Michael Wendler: Singer is said to be planning a comeback

Michael Wendler caused a stir with crude conspiracy theories about the corona crisis. He could take a position on this shortly.

With his surprising exit from the jury of "Deutschland sucht den Superstar", an attack on the German television station and crude corona conspiracy theories, Michael Wendler (48) has sidelined himself. Many see it as the end of the singer's career – and possibly his wife Laura Müller (20). Now Wendler apparently wants to return.

In a cryptic Instagram story, which has since disappeared, the singer wrote "Back on November 3rd" ("Back on November 3rd"). According to information from the "Bild" newspaper, Wendler apparently wants to make a statement on this date. What he could announce in it or which topics he could take up is currently still completely open.

There are "still options for him"

"It is true that he understood that the attack on RTL was a gross mistake and cannot be excused," said Wendler's manager Markus Krampe about two weeks ago on the late-night show "Pocher – dangerously honest!" . At that time, Krampe had not yet lost hope that Wendler would still distance himself from his behavior: "A lot only arrives with him afterwards."

Among other things, the singer had quasi turned his back on Instagram and opened a Telegram account. This is a platform that is particularly popular with corona deniers and conspiracy theorists. Nevertheless, Wendler recently returned to Instagram and posted a couple picture with his wife Laura.

The "Bild" confirmed Krampe: "Michael Wendler is always good for a surprise. Something is planned for November 3rd. We will then see exactly what it will look like." If the singer shows insight, his manager sees "still opportunities for him".
