(CercleFinance.com) – On the occasion of its extraordinary general meeting of June 13, the ASM Clermont Auvergne rugby club approved the entry into the capital of Compagnie Financière Michelin, a capital which was previously held overwhelmingly by ASM Omnisports.
Consequently, the Michelin group becomes a 100% shareholder of ASM Clermont Auvergne, with the aim of ‘sustaining the club and supporting its transformation project’.
“Eventually, the Michelin group and ASM Clermont Auvergne plan to open up the capital of the club to other shareholders, in priority to economic players in the territory,” Michelin said in its press release.
