Ex-US President Barack Obama (59) shared a private snapshot on Instagram that shows the former first lady in a casual top and with large, gold hoop earrings. His comment: "Happy birthday, my love, my partner and my best friend. Every moment with you is a blessing. I love you, Miche."
Unforgettable as a first lady
Celebrity friends like model Naomi Campbell (50) or TV presenter Ellen DeGeneres (62) also sent their wishes to Michelle Obama via Instagram. Both would miss the 57-year-old. "More than ever," wrote Campbell, "every single day," said DeGeneres. Meanwhile, actress Mindy Kaling (41, "Ocean's 8") praised the birthday boy as "a role model for me, my daughter and my son". Michelle Obama reminded her "constantly how to deal with adversity. Not anger, but grace. And you do it all while looking incredibly fashionable."
