Following this statement from Sony, Microsoft wanted to reassure players. The firm does not intend to increase the price of the Xbox Series X or the Xbox Series S. In an article on Windows Central, Microsoft thus affirmed that “ our MSRP for Xbox Series S remains at €299.99 and Xbox Series X at €499.99 “. As a result, the prices of the Xbox Series S and the Xbox Series X do not change. In addition, it should also be remembered that Nintendo recently indicated that the selling price of its hybrid console, the Switch, will not increase either.
