(CercleFinance.com) – The European Commission has unconditionally cleared, under the EC Merger Regulation, the proposed acquisition of Nuance Communications by Microsoft Corporation.
The Commission concluded that the transaction would not pose any competition concerns in the European Economic Area (‘EEA’).
On the basis of its market investigation, the Commission found that the transaction, as notified, would not significantly reduce competition in the markets for transcription software, cloud services, communication services, etc. business, customer relationship management, productivity software and PC operating systems.
