On X, Microsoft’s general manager of advertising and web services announces: “After a lot of work, GPT-4 Turbo replaces GPT-4 in the free version of Copilot. Copilot Pro users can still choose the older AI model if they prefer.”.

While it is always possible to use the Copilot Pro subscription plan ($20/month) to use the standard model, GPT-4, GPT-4 Turbo is renowned for its speed, precision and ability to manage complex tasks. It should be noted, however, that integrating the GPT-4 Turbo model into Copilot does not mean that the free version will provide access to all of its features.

Copilot Pro subscribers can create personalized chatbots

As for subscribers to the paid plan, they are not forgotten by Microsoft. Copilot Pro users have access to create custom chatbots for specific tasks via Copilot GPT Builder. They can share their generative AI with the rest of the community, even with users who are not subscribers.
