Jan 18 (Reuters) – Microsoft said on Tuesday it would buy video game publisher Activision Blizzard for $68.7 billion (59.5 billion euros), the most expensive deal ever in this sector.
Microsoft is offering $95 per share, a 45% premium to the closing price of Activision stock at the close on Wall Street on Friday. Activision stock price gained nearly 38% to $65.39 before being suspended.
