Microsoft’s hybrid laptop for creators will come in two flavors. The first equipped with an Intel Core i5-11300H (4C/8T) processor capable of reaching 4.4 GHz, the second carrying an Intel Core i7-11370H (4C/8T) couple at 4.8 GHz and a dedicated graphics from Nvidia, the GeForce RTX 3050 Ti.
Do not expect to launch the latest fashionable games since Microsoft has chosen the Max-Q version of the RTX 3050 Ti with a TGP of 50 W. This is however more than enough to reduce the rendering times of creation software thanks to different Nvidia technologies: Cuda Cores and other Tensor Cores.
The entry ticket starts at €1699 for the Core i5 version accompanied by 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, €1899 for 16 GB and 512 GB of storage. The version equipped with the Core i7 / RTX 3050 Ti pair starts at €2,199 with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage and can reach €3,199 with 32 GB of memory and 2 TB of storage.
The Surface Latop Studio is already available for pre-order for delivery scheduled for February 22, 2022.
