Mikaela Shiffrin above the rest! On Friday, the American won the slalom in Lienz in Austria after two perfectly controlled runs. In the lead at the end of the first act, the 28-year-old skier confirmed it during the second round to finish more than two seconds ahead of her main pursuers. The German Lena Duerr (+2″34) finished in second place, while the Swiss Michelle Gisin (+2″45) obtained a surprising third place. Reduced, Petra Vlhova is content with 5th position. World Cup leader, Mikaela Shiffrin wins her 93rd career victory. On the French side, Caitlin McFarlane, Chiara Pogneaux and Marie Lamure finished in the points.
