In the British jungle camp, there was a surprise before the finale: Royal Mike Tindall had to leave the TV show.

The British version of “I’m a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here!”, “I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!”, had a surprise on Saturday night. According to media reports, Mike Tindall (44) had to leave the jungle camp. The 44-year-old just missed the final. After all, Princess Anne’s son-in-law (72) can look forward to fourth place. In the final are politician Matt Hancock (44), actor Owen Warner (23) and soccer star Jill Scott (35).

Royal reception

Mike Tindall was picked up after his expulsion by his wife Zara Tindall (41), niece of King Charles III. (74). The 41-year-old performed according to “The Sun” making it the first senior member of the royal family to appear on the show. Mike Tindall told the moderators that he was “happy” when he left the jungle camp, but he also had “a lot of fun” on this “amazing journey”. “I was very lucky with everyone who was there and how the camp worked together. Having been on a team for a long time in my life I didn’t expect it to work so well,” said the former rugby star.

In the jungle show, Mike Tindall talked about, among other things, how he met Queen’s granddaughter Zara. He knew from the start that he was dating a member of the royal family, he revealed to his colleagues. “Because I know she is Princess Anne’s daughter and Princess Anne is a patron of Scottish rugby.” They were friends at first and since “William and Harry were big England fans at the time, we met them many times,” said the former England international. He probably got to know more members of the family than you “usually know from the woman you are dating”.

Mike and Zara Tindall met in 2003 and married in 2011. They have three children: Mia Grace (8), Lena Elizabeth (4) and Lucas Philip (1).
