3 simple tips for a more conscious approach to your kids

Mindfulness can teach us how to create memories that last forever.

“Mindfulness”: This term means more than just “And now breathe in deeply…” and can help us to react more consciously and to appreciate moments. But how can we learn this?

Being mindful means living in the here and now. And not just physically, but especially mentally. This is often the difficulty, because: When things have to be done quickly in the morning, the children are hungry at lunchtime and we sink into bed in the evening because of sheer exhaustion – where is there any time for mindfulness? How should we appreciate a moment when we are caught between everyday family life, household to-dos and professional challenges?

The good news: Mindfulness can be learned – and so can mindful parenting

It’s completely normal in the hectic pace of everyday life to not be able to properly reflect on your own actions and certain moments. Here we will show you tips on how you can reduce your mental load. Despite all the hectic pace, being more mindful can help you experience your time with your children more consciously. After all, they only grow up once – and we want to accompany them on this journey as intensively as possible.

There is good news: mindfulness can be trained! It is by no means an innate skill, but rather something we can learn to bring more control over our actions while creating long-lasting memories. So that at the end of a long day we no longer have to wonder whether we spent enough time with our kids, whether we overreacted in a conflict situation or how we should have taken more time. Mindfulness not only helps to meet the needs of our children, but also aims to ensure that we react more calmly in stressful situations – and thus act more consciously. In the video we give you three tips on how you can bring more mindfulness into your everyday family life. Please note that these are just ideas and you should find the right path for yourself.
