A few days ago, a rumor implied that Mojang was working on a new game, in a style very different from those already available, since it would offer a much more strategic aspect. This production is now official, since Mojang has formalized working on a new game, Minecraft Legends.
Minecraft Legends formalized
This new game was unveiled through a nice trailer (see below), which highlights the cubic world and therefore certain features present in Minecraft Legends. Qualified as a strategic action game, this one is developed in partnership with Blackbird Interactive and will ask players to defend the Overworld. Minecraft Legends will take up the codes of the RTS genre, since you will have to create an army and plunder resources in order to become more and more powerful, to defeat your enemies. It will also be very important to make allies, since being alone could lead to your loss.
The information is quite meager at the moment, but Minecraft Legends will have, when it is released, a campaign (playable in cooperation), but also a competitive multiplayer game. We will know more in a few months, since the release of Minecraft Legends is scheduled for the year 2023, on PC and Xbox consoles. You can watch the announcement trailer below.
