As expected on October 15, the developers of Minecraft presented the novelties of the cubic game, but also of its derivatives. Regarding Minecraft itself, we were able to find out what will be what’s new that will be added when the 1.20 update is releasedwhich doesn’t yet have a release date, of course.
Mojang unveils update 1.20
After two major updates, some may be disappointed to see that this new version is not as big in terms of additions. At least for the moment, since other new features should be announced in the coming weeks. Among what was mentioned during the event organized by Mojang, we can mention in particular camels. The latter will appear in the villages of the desert and can be used as a mount, for two people. It will probably be necessary to craft a saddle to be able to tame them.
Bamboo will become much more useful, as we learn that new crafts will be integrated, allowing the use of this resource. For example, to move on water, it will be possible to make a raft. The latter works like a boat, and can be equipped with a chest, but will require different resources. A good alternative depending on the biome you are in. Other items can be crafted with the bamboo, but these have not yet been revealed.
Finally, on the side of the winning mob, we find the sniffer, which won the community vote quite largely. This is a monster initially present in the Overworld, which it will be possible to raise in order to find seeds that only it can flush out.
Let’s also mention new default skins for this end of the year, but also new decorative objects and a special library. All this will be added in Minecraft version 1.20which does not yet have a name, but which will arrive in 2023, without further details for the moment.
