In August, the social partners had agreed to revalue the minima to 5% above the Smic with “a discount clause» in the event of an increase in the minimum wage. “The combination of these two agreements has the effect of increasing the first minima of the grid by 5.58% and bringing them to 8.9% above the Smic“, detailed the AFB. This 5.58% increase concerns “the first 13 levels“Said in a press release the inter-union, composed of the SNB, the CFDT, the CGT, FO and the CFTC.

The demands of the inter-union were higher and justified by the economic context and the excellent results of the commercial banks“, however, specified the organizations. “But, in an inflationary situation which persists and after three years without any increase, for lack of having found a consensus, the trade union organizations did not want to penalize the employees“, adds the text.
