She would have been 84 years old on May 15. During her stay in Le Divan, in 2015, Mireille Darc had made painful revelations about her childhood.
Sunday May 15, 2022, Jean-Pierre Foucault celebrated a special anniversary : that of Mireille Darc who would have been 84 years old. Unfortunately, in 2017, the former companion of Alain Delon died. She had also confided in this relationship during her time on the show The sofa in 2015 : “He is present and for nothing in the world I would like him to leave, to leave me. I need him. Yes I love him, in another way, that’s for sure, but in- beyond everything”, she confided. But during this interview, Mireille Darc had also revealed to have had a very complicated childhood.
And for good reason: Mireille Darc was born of an illegitimate relationship. His father was actually a sailor who died in Indochina during World War II.. A discovery she had made as an adult. “I was an accident in my mother’s life, everyone was in a state of pain. My father could not bear me since I represented infidelity, and my mother could not love me since it was as if she loved another man through me. Maybe she couldn’t love me”, she had mentioned, revealing the nickname that her non-biological father gave her: “Afterwards, I doubted my mother. I thought that my father was not my father. Because as a kid he called me the bastard. When I started to understand what a bastard, I said to myself that I should not be my father’s daughter”.
This traumatic memory told by Mireille Darc
Mireille Darc also then related a traumatic memory : “He wants to hang himself. He wants to hang himself from a beam. And he says to me, ‘It’s because of you.’ And I’m begging him not to do that. But it’s true that I haven’t had many words of love for him. So I cry, I scream, I apologize to him.” she described. If the tragedy had been avoided, Mireille Darc will remain forever traumatized by this event : “I never talk about it to anyone. It’s something that I buried inside me, because we are in families in which we don’t talk. It was the time that wanted that.”
