In an interview, Mirja du Mont is very hard on herself and ex-partner Sky du Mont when it comes to the failure of her marriage.
The failure of her marriage to Sky du Mont, 76, was a heavy blow to Mirja Du Mont, 47. After 16 years together as a married couple, both actors drew a line under their relationship. For many years, the two were considered THE society dream couple and together they not only look back on a long partnership, but the two also have two children together. Daughter Tara and her son Fayn.

And that is exactly what has the highest priority for the ex-dream couple. The fact that they could not set an example for their offspring as “perfect” parents with a solid, functioning marriage gnawed at the mother of two. In an interview with “Bunte”, she was very harsh on herself.

She told the magazine: “Of course, after the breakup, I was scared. I knew we failed as parents in that moment. I mostly thought I failed in life. Kids don’t want their parents to break up. After that, the most important thing to me was that the two of them didn’t notice anything, had a good life and were able to fulfill their wishes.” The actress did not take it for granted that her children emerged from the separation unscathed and happy.
And Sky du Mont? He felt it was a “miracle” that he “financially survived” his four divorces. Speaking to Barbara Schöneberger, 49, for a new podcast episode of “With a Woman’s Waffles,” the actor flippantly explained, “My marriages haven’t helped me financially or in terms of experience.” But the relationship with his ex Mirja seems to be good despite his snippy remarks. “But we all get along well,” admits the “The Shoe of Manitou” star. The native Argentinian is currently happy with ORF presenter Julia Schütze, 47, with whom he is even building a house. He met the television woman shortly after separating from Mirja du Mont.
