“Among Us” star Mirja du Mont has suffered a painful accident. Sky du Mont’s ex-wife burst her eardrum while bathing.
Mirja du Mont (47) suffered a painful accident while on vacation in Spain. Like the actress and ex-wife of Sky du Mont (76) herself said in an Instagram story that yesterday, Monday (September 11th), her eardrum burst “due to a big wave that hit my ear.” Fortunately, her hearing did not suffer as a result of the injury, as du Mont writes.

The “Unter Uns” star also describes the treatment of her injured ear in his Instagram post. Accordingly, her hearing organ “bleeded and had to be closed”. But a “hearing test that was obviously carried out was fortunately good,” du Mont continued. The actress writes that this is exactly what scared her because of her previous hearing problems. Now she has to take antibiotics to get completely healthy again.
Du Mont suffered a sudden hearing loss in 2018 and was left almost deaf in her right ear. To this day, the 47-year-old has to undergo treatment, suffers from tinnitus and has difficulty hearing.
Model and actress du Mont first became known as a Playboy Playmate and in 2000 married actor Sky du Mont, 28 years her senior, whose name she took. The children Tara (22) and Fayn du Mont were born from the marriage. The couple announced their separation in 2016.
Working as a model for brands such as L’Oreal and Yves Saint Laurent in the early 2000s, du Mont appeared in the 2007 comedy film “7 Dwarfs – The Forest Is Not Enough”. In the film with Otto Waalkes (75) and Mirco Nontschew (1969-2021) she played Little Red Riding Hood. Du Mont has also appeared in various reality formats such as “Die Alm” on ProSieben over the years. Since October 2021 she has been playing a leading role in the daily series “Unter uns” on RTL.
