“Nobody ever believed us”: That’s how often she is in contact with ex Sky

Sky and Mirja du Mont were married for 17 years. Although the actress has ruled out a second relationship in public, she was happy to tell us on the red carpet how often she and her ex Sky still have contact with each other.
At the “Channel Aid Live in Concert” Mirja du Mont, 47, appears on the red carpet accompanied by a good friend. The “Unter Uns” actress doesn’t want to reveal whether she has a partner again – true to her motto “Never have a relationship in public again”! Her marriage to Sky du Mont, 76, was in the spotlight from the start. In the GALA interview, Mirja reveals what her relationship with her ex-husband is currently like. And casually chats about how much contact they still have with each other.
Mirja du Mont: Good relationship with Sky “no one ever believed”
“We were happily married for 17 years and have two wonderful children,” summed up Sky du Mont after separating from Mirja. A conclusion that the actress would certainly agree with, as she emphasized in the GALA interview on the red carpet that she still has a good relationship with her ex. “At the moment it’s the same as it always was; we’re friends,” says du Mont. “Somehow no one ever believed us, and I don’t know why it was so surprising,” she says today.
Mirja and Sky du Mont have two daughters: Tara, 22, and Fayn, 17. The two are probably one reason why their separated parents are still in regular contact with each other. A second is the friendship between Mirja and Sky, which of course needs to be maintained. The actress tells us this further. “We also talk on the phone every other day,” says Mirja du Mont, “today I already have a WhatsApp and a voicemail [bekommen] and sent one back, I can prove it on my cell phone,” she grins. And goes on to explain: “There may also be people who break up and then are still friends and that’s the case with us.”
Is Mirja du Mont still single? She would like to go out to dinner with HIM
The actress would like to remain silent about her relationship status. But: “Let’s put it this way: If someone had a date with Jason Momoa, I would definitely post it. […] I have time, I would go out to dinner with him,” she grins. Her chances couldn’t be bad, after all, Jason Momoa, 44, and Lisa Bonet, 56, are recently divorced. If you don’t dare, you don’t win…
