Miss France 2023: who is Indira Ampiot, the sublime Miss Guadeloupe?

Like every year, the Miss France contest will take place live on TF1 during the month of december. After Diane Leyre last year, a new beauty queen will be crowned the most beautiful woman in France for the year 2023. Among the various regional Misses who will participate in this election, a new candidate was revealed on Wednesday July 27, 2022. Tonight -the, a certain Indira Ampiot was crowned Miss Guadeloupe 2022, during a ceremony which took place at the Royal Riviera Hotel, located in the city of Le Gosier. Diane Leyre and Sylvie Tellier were present for the occasion, as Clemence Botino.

As a reminder, the latter had been elected Miss Guadeloupe 2019, which then allowed her to participate in the Miss France 2020 competition, from which she emerged a winner. Crowned Miss Basse Terre 2022, Indira Ampiot thus succeeded Ludivine Edmond on the list of Miss Guadeloupe. “I have the will to succeed, the intention to represent our beautiful island and I am aware of the responsibilities“, had declared the young woman, aged only 18, in her presentation video, which had been published on July 23, 2022 on the Instagram account of the Miss Guadeloupe committee.

Miss France 2023: Miss Guadeloupe joins Miss Tahiti, Miss Guyana and Miss Corsica

Indira Ampiot is currently planning to study in a school of communication, in order to begin a course in the “design specialized in advertising and visual communication“. For the moment, Miss Guadeloupe is only the 4th regional Miss to have been elected. She will therefore soon meet her future competitors during the Miss France 2023 competition: Herenui Tuheiava, Miss Tahiti 2022, Shaïna Robin, Miss Guyana 2022, and Orianne MeloniMiss Corsica 2022. For the record, it is in the town of Châteauroux, located in the Center-Val de Loire region, that the next Miss France election will take place.
