Miss France 2024: who is the oldest of the competition?

A new life is about to be turned upside down. On December 16, live from the Zénith in Dijon, the thirty regional Misses will apply everything they learned during the training trip to seduce the members of the jury and win the crown of Miss France 2024. And one candidates could never have claimed the title. This is Elena Faliez, Miss Ile-de-France. Dean of this new promotion, the 28-year-old young woman was able to try her luck thanks to the new rules introduced after the departure of Sylvie Tellier. If at the time you had to be between 18 and 24 years old to be able to participate in the beauty contest, this age limit has been removed. A great revenge for this IT transformation and cybersecurity consultant in La Défense. And for good reason, in 2019, it was failed by more than “the permitted age of exactly 6 months.” “I will always remember a year ago, when the Miss France committee announced the change in the rules, in my favor. This is a sign for me. I’m 28 years old, and I’m even more determined. I intend to seize this opportunity.”she confided on her Instagram account on September 22.

Although relieved and delighted to be able to embark on this adventure, Elena Faliez was plagued by doubts. “When I was 28, I said to myself, “Damn, Have I lost my freshness, don’t they want someone younger?”there is the slightly naive side…”she confided to our colleagues at Tele-Leisure, on November 24. And adding, laughing: “After, I’m only 28 years old, so we are not going to be alarmed about this. I still have life ahead of me.” Perseverant and determined, Elena Faliez is ready to do anything to win the crown she has dreamed of so much.

Miss France 2024: Elena Faliez has already been first runner-up

Elena Faliez is not her first attempt. In 2016, the pretty brunette from Guilherand-Granges (in Ardèche) competed in the election of Miss Rhône-Alpes. Then aged 21, she climbed onto the third step of the podium and won the 2nd runner-up sash. “A great experience and later I will be able to tell my children that I participated in a regional final…,” she declared to Dauphiné LibéréOctober 24, 2016.

A question is then on everyone’s lips: Seven after this first participation, why Didn’t Elena Faliez try her luck again at Miss Rhône-Alpes? ? During an interview given to Tele-Leisurethe young woman put an end to the mystery. “It was also more relevant for me to present myself in Île-de-France because I have my apartment in the region, and my job too.” Two years after Diane Leyre, will Elena Faliez bring the crown back to the capital?
