The upcoming Miss Germany election has found its chief judge: Bruce Darnell will judge the candidates.

The first member of the new jury for the Miss Germany election 2022/2023 has been determined – and it is a true expert in the field. Model and TV personality Bruce Darnell (65) will act as chief judge, as has now been announced by the organizers. The 65-year-old has already gained a lot of experience in giving his professional opinion in comparable competitions – be it as a jury colleague of Heidi Klum (49) on “Germany’s next top model” or alongside Dieter Bohlen (68) on “Das Supertalent” and ” Germany seeks the superstar”.

Darnell looks forward to this task with great anticipation: “We are not looking for models, but people who inspire. I am particularly interested in the stories behind the people,” he explains the new focus when evaluating the candidates. It is not yet known who will support him for this. Quite the opposite of the duo that will lead through the final on March 4th, 2023 in Europa-Park in Rust.

Ludwig in a double pack

It will be a debut: RTL veteran Frauke Ludowig (58), who recently sat on the Miss Germany jury herself, is hosting a live show for the first time with daughter Nele Ludowig (19). “It’s a great honor for me to moderate the Miss Germany final. With my mother I have the best possible support at my side, from whom I can learn a lot. I’m really looking forward to the moderation and the strong personalities at the microphone “, says the young presenter.

Nele Ludowig will start studying journalism in Cologne in October, and she will also be in front of the camera for a web format for broadcaster RTL from autumn.
