Mission Impossible 7: “in the running to be the best film in the saga”… The viewers’ opinions have fallen!

Mission Impossible 7 is released today in our dark rooms. Will Tom Cruise’s new movie as Ethan Hunt do as well as Fallout in 2018?

Here we are. After 5 years of waiting, a pandemic, postponements and (surely) dozens of motorcycles destroyed for a stunt scene, Mission Impossible 7 is finally out on our screens. In this new installment – the first of a diptych titled Dead Reckoning – Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his IMF team embark on their most perilous mission yet: hunt down a horrifying new weapon before it falls into the wrong hands and threatens all of humanity. Control of the future and the fate of the world are at stake.

As the dark forces of his past resurface, Ethan embarks on a deadly race around the globe. Confronted by a powerful and enigmatic enemy, he realizes that nothing can stand above his mission – not even the lives of those he loves.

Mission Impossible 7 sees the return to our screens of a character that we had not seen since the first part released 27 years ago. The franchise also welcomes three newcomers who will not leave viewers indifferent: Hayley Atwell, Esai Morales and the French Pom Klementieff. The film, still directed by Christopher McQuarrie, will have to do as well or even better than Fallout, the best film in the saga according to viewers with its excellent rating of 4/5.

For its first day of operation in France, the feature film produced by Paramount seems to have convinced the spectators who rushed to the cinema – the day of release and during previews – to see Tom Cruise running like crazy. and jumping off a cliff on a motorcycle: with 884* cumulative scores, it currently dethrones Mission Impossible 6 with a very nice 4.3/5. To see of course how this will evolve in the coming days.

The first spectator opinions

“Just incredible! You never get bored for a second! A very steady pace, never a false note! Perhaps one of the best in the saga!” (Angel A.)

“This opus is in the running to be the best film in the saga, if not the best. Indeed it lasts 2h30… when I saw the duration I hallucinated, I saw nothing pass so much that no length is present! The stunts, bah it’s tom cruise huh it’s niquel, it’s impressive, it’s beautiful, in short, great art… Scenario to the hair, even a little complicated if you don’t follow. All nations are against each other, even some agents of the same nation are against each other and frankly I think part 2 can be so complete. There are a few details that I don’t like anymore but it’s in the order of the smallest detail. Photography in the hair no really nothing to complain about, Tom And McQuarie go together and are brilliant. Thanks guys !” (Cinecdote)

“The script is interesting and the stakes are dizzying. A quality always there, we are at the level of James Bond, perhaps even above. Action, stunts, suspense at the top, it works!” (Go to sleep)

One thing is certain, all the studios will be watching the figures for Dead Reckoning part 1 very closely, at a time when the big franchises (The Flash, Indiana Jones 5, Elementary, etc.) are disappointing at the box office. Tom Cruise could once again save our movie year.
