So let’s take a closer look at the YouTuber’s opinion on the photo part of the OnePlus 10 Pro. Remember that we find the same main sensor of 48 Megapixels, the same 3.3x telephoto of 8 Megapixels and a new ultra wide-angle of 150°. OnePlus has not specified whether any changes have been made to the lenses of these modules or to the software processing.
“Image quality is still pretty good.“says Marques Brownlee, “it takes nice shots in daylight and the large sensor gives a reduced depth of field and good clipping of close-up subjects“. What’s more, “everything in the center of the frame shows very good detail and a lot of finesse” and “colors and dynamic range are still good and not over-processed, without being above normal“.
On the ultra wide-angle side, however, the colors are very different from those of the main sensor and the photos are not “definitely not as accurate“.

The YouTuber also notes that the shutter speed is “notnot very fastwhich means that you will need to stand still and take pictures of stationary subjects to be successful in your photos. Too bad for children or animals that will often be blurred, especially in low light.
There are also some interesting modes, such as the Hasselblad mode (which is really just a filter) or the 150° ultra wide-angle mode which distorts the image a little, but allows you to take advantage of a field of very broad view.
Marques Brownlee’s conclusion is that there is “not a big difference in terms of the camera… if you weren’t convinced of last year’s phone, this one won’t change your opinion“.
Autonomy as a novelty
As you will have understood, the novelty is therefore not to be found on the photo side, but rather on the battery. With its 5000 mAh battery and 80 W charger, the OnePlus 10 Pro works miracles. Too bad that the power supply is backtracking and returning to USB-A while that of the OnePlus 9 offered USB-C.
