Mobile telecoms packages: how to make the most of the discounted offers for Christmas?

There is little time for bargain-seekers to find a mobile plan at a very attractive price.

Limited edition, Christmas promotion … whatever the name given to the operation, the result is there. Bouygues Telecom, Orange, SFR and Free compete in generosity for the end-of-year celebrations, aligning mobile plans at broken prices. To take advantage of it, do not delay, some offers end on the evening of December 22 and you have to bet on the “entry-level” brands of three of the four operators.

Indeed, promotions from Orange, Bouygues Telecom and SFR can be found respectively at Sosh, B & You and Red. Among the most attractive packages is the one at 9.99 euros for 40 GB of mobile data per month, at B & You. The same envelope is 10 euros at Red. For 99 cents more, Free offers 50 GB. The most generous and cheapest packages at the moment are at B & You, with an offer of 12.99 euros per month for 100 GB and 14.99 euros for 200 GB. But the promo ends on December 22. At Sosh, the 50 GB are 12.99 euros and you have to pay 15.99 euros for 100 GB. The offer lasts a little longer, until January 10. In all cases, the prices of its packages have no time limit. Even if some operators, in particular SFR, have made a habit of raising prices after several months, with an enriched data envelope.

5G packages partially escape the generosity of operators. Free displays the most attractive price in the long term, since its plan at 19.99 euros for 150 GB of data includes 5G. It is followed by Red with 130 GB of data for 24 euros per month and B & You, at 24.99 euros for 130 GB. At Orange, 5G is at 20.99 euros per month for 120 GB, and it is the only one of the four national operators to apply a tariff for twelve months, rising to 32.99 euros thereafter.

Alternative operators

In addition to the commercial offers of large national operators, those of virtual mobile operators. Prixtel, which was bought in June by SFR, breaks prices with a package at 9.99 euros per month for 200 GB the first year, then 15.99 euros. CIC Mobile – owned by Bouygues Telecom – also plays the game of Christmas promotions with a 100 GB package at 9.99 euros for a year, then 19.99 euros. La Poste thus displays an attractive promotion, with 50 GB in 4G at 9.99 euros or 100 GB at 14.99 euros.
