Mobility: My favorite accessory just got better

Among my many mobile accessories, it is difficult to name a preference. But lately I fell in love with my car charger. Above all.

Why ? Because it can load anything I need! And without electricity, all my fancy toys and gadgets are just paperweights (and I don’t have much paper to press these days).

Recently, I opted for the LinkOn 130W USB-C car charger. It has two USB-C ports, one with 100W power and the other with 30W power. And what’s great is that I can use both ports simultaneously.

A super-powerful in-car USB-C charger

Previously I had a 112W version of this car charger. It featured a 90W USB-C port and a maximum 22.5W USB-A port. It was cool. The new 130W version is even better.

In fact, what’s great about this kind of high-powered in-car USB-C charger is that it can charge both my MacBook Pro and other devices – iPhone, AirPods, drones or cameras – while I’m on the go. I also use it to charge my external battery when I’m not in the car.

Well, I’ll explain why this LinkOn 130 W charger is powerful. It’s sturdy, well-built, produces what it’s supposed to, and best of all, it doesn’t get hot – I anticipated this annoyance and was pleasantly surprised to find that it didn’t. It also looks great, made with what appears to be ABS plastic and carbon fiber.

A device that is not cheap

Certainly, with a price of 55 euros, it is not cheap. But it is very well made and is very reliable. In fact, while I’ve tested a lot of different car chargers, I feel this is by far the best. I particularly like the fact that I can use both ports at the same time, and that the charger doesn’t get hot (I’m not afraid of it catching fire while I’m riding).

The only downside is that it might not fit all 12V car sockets because it’s a bit long. That said, I’ve tried it in a number of vehicles and haven’t had a problem.

The essential accessory for road warriors. I highly recommend it !
