Nevertheless, before all this, other information continues to appear on the web, and the latest is quite interesting since it emits the probable arrival of the title of Infinity Ward on a launcher other than that of Battle.net.
Modern Warfare 2 available on Steam?
Yes, you read correctly, it could be that PC gamers welcome Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 to Valve’s platform ! For years now, while Call of Duty games have been available in physical or in the respective stores of PlayStation and Xbox consoles, PC players have had to go through the Battle.net launcher.
But recently, and more specifically on May 29, fans of the franchise made a rather interesting discovery. On the Black Ops 3 Steam page, players actually spotted an artwork of Modern Warfare 2 at the bottom of the listing, announcing the Call of Duty franchise’s page on the platform.
Unfortunately, at the time of this writing, this image has since been removed but we could see the character of Simon Ghost Riley with the green and black colors of Modern Warfare 2. Despite the withdrawal of it, it is still a good clue to the arrival of the game on this platform.
Right now, if you’re looking to get your hands on this next game, you’ll obviously come across the title page that was released in 2009 and not Modern Warfare 2 from 2022.
In a few days, and more precisely on June 8, we will have the right to reveal its official trailer, and we can hope to have a definitive answer to this new information: Will Modern Warfare 2 be available? on Steam?
