Modern Warfare 2 lifts the veil on its operators

It was only yesterday, May 24, that Infinity Ward and Activision studios indeed lifted the veil on the release date of their next opus Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. If the title therefore gives us appointment next october 28we will be in good company since we were able to discover some faces, including that of Ghost.

Modern Warfare 2 introduces a few Operators

While we can easily imagine they won’t be the only ones in this installment, Infinity Ward introduced a few Modern Warfare 2 Operators, and the rumor of the return of Ghost has indeed been confirmed.

A few days ago, the studio’s official Twitter account had changed its profile photo and cover photo, revealing almost completely black images. However, it took little time for the community to discover that behind these was actually hiding the silhouette of the Ghost Operator. And for a few hours now, his return has therefore been confirmed thanks to the formalization of the release date of the game, but also and above all thanks to the video presenting the art work put in place for the title.

Thus, on October 28 we will find Ghost, but not only. Other members of Task Force 141 will be present, with Captain John Price, team leader (also featured in 2019’s Modern Warfare), Sergeant Kyle Gaz Garrick, Sergeant Soap MacTavish, and finally Colonel Alejandro Vargas of the Mexican Special Forces.

See you in June

If we are now waiting to know more about it, it should not be very long. Remember, a few days ago, our inveterate Call of Duty leakers indicated on social networks that we should have the right to a trailer but also to some gameplay images of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (its Multiplayer and his campaign).

If the dates were between June 2 and June 9, it would seem that it is that of the 8 which was retained by Inifnity Ward. On the video presenting the art work of Modern Warfare 2, the date of June 8, 2022 indeed appears, very furtively, on one of the containers, and according to Tom Hendersonone of the best-known insiders, the date of the 8th would therefore be that of the reveal of the very first official trailer of the game.

The reveal of the trailer will be an opportunity for us to learn more about it, but also to lift the veil once and for all on some doubts that remain at present. Finally, we can also hope to have images of the new mode called DMZ, a mode which, we remind you, will be neither more nor less than tactical extraction à la Escape from Tarkov.

Let’s meet, then on June 8 to learn more about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

It is without warning that the Infinity Ward studio has decided to lift the veil once and for all on its next opus Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. See you this fall to find Captain Price!
