The return of a flagship show. This Monday, M6 is relaunching “Le Juste Prix”, the cult game launched in 1987 and which is making its return after 9 years of absence. It will be hosted by Eric Antoine on a new slot, at 5:30 p.m. This is the first time that the host will host a daily game. He succeeds Patrick Roy, Philippe Risoli and Vincent Lagaff. Viewers of old versions of “Just Price” should not be destabilized because the new version remains very faithful to what TF1 did.

Return of iconic games

But as the show’s producer, Bruno Fallot, boss of Freemantle, explains, it was still necessary to apply a fresh coat of paint. “We decided to bring back the most iconic games, like fakir, like Tyrolean, like poker,” he explains. “So of course, these will not be identical games. We have modernized them. You will see, the settings are very impressive, very large, very high, very colorful. And above all, we have redone them Eric Antoine sauce. We worked a lot with him upstream to recreate these modernized games, adapted to the 2024 sauce.”

It remains to be seen whether the public will be there for “Le Juste Prix” with Eric Antoine sauce and 2024 sauce. The program which occupied this slot until now, “The Castle of My Dreams”, attracted 500,000 viewers.
