At the time, he was nominated in the category of Best Comedian. “I have nothing to fear myself, they never give me a Molière. I am never named. It seems that I have been working in the theater for several years but they never name me“, said Fabrice Luchini in a rather caustic way, causing at the same time a slight uneasiness within the Folies Bergères. For the record, this famous Parisian performance hall hosted the Molières ceremony this year. However, the actor also clarified in his speech that he had received a Molière d’honneur in 2016, alongside the late Michael Bouquet.
