After having lent her features to this character in the first part as well as in the sequel, Mom I missed the plane again, she put an end to her film career, in favor of a completely different field in which she shone: judo.
After seeing her brother practice this sport, she began learning at the age of seven. The pace of training becoming more and more difficult and above all not compatible with filming schedules, she made the decision at the age of 15 to devote herself fully to judo.
Well he took it. She became junior world champion in her discipline, and was part of the American delegation at the Atlanta Games in 1996, as well as at the Sydney Olympics in 2000.

The ex-actress who became a judoka also recently confided in this very discreet conversion, having always refused to talk about it before:
“I was never super motivated to talk about it, so I kept quiet about that part of my life. A lot of kids were dying to be successful actors and actresses, and I had no idea. that desire. It’s just something I did. I realized early on that I didn’t want that lifestyle when I grew up.”
After her participation in the Sydney Games, she put an end to her sporting career and now takes care of a wrestling club with her husband, the American wrestler Chris Saba, with whom she had two sons.
