A 20-year-old from Hermagor probably didn’t feel like having check-up appointments and preferred to enjoy the summer.
Between May 31st and July 28th of this year, the Gailtal resident submitted five fake sick leave reports to the AMS Hermagor in order to avoid upcoming check-up appointments. “As a result, the 20-year-old illegally received unemployment benefits amounting to several hundred euros,” confirms a police officer. “There is also the suspicion that in autumn 2021 he had falsified two sick leave reports for another person.”
