Probably the most famous board game in the world, Monopoly has already been entitled to several adaptations in video games and it’s back on mobiles in a free version with Monopoly Go!a title developed by Scopely in partnership with Hasbo. The principle remains somewhat the same, as shown in the launch trailer:
Monopoly Go! puts us back on the famous board, with dice to roll to move his pawn and with his cult places to buy to empty his friends’ purses, and the title here is meant to be social, with online competition, but also collaborations to increase its virtual income. Here are the key points of the game:
- Always so fun : roll the dice and move around the Monopoly board with the famous pawns like the racing car, the top hat and the battleship. Collect properties, build houses and hotels, draw lucky cards and avoid jail
- Build your empire : Build a real estate empire filled with remarkable monuments to increase your net worth and unlock more than 100 new boards. All streets can be upgraded to showcase your tycoon status and reap even greater rewards.
- New and familiar faces : Fan-favorite characters Scottie and Mr. Monopoly will help players through world-famous cities and fantastical locations. Memorable new characters will appear, including appraiser Sofia Wattsitworth and banker Benjamin Basu. Both will add a bit of humor and charm to your parties.
- Community Connections : Mini-games such as the Community Chest will allow friends to work together to earn money and rewards.
- A competitive game : Compete against players from around the world to tear down opposing properties or steal money in incredibly fun heists.
- Rich sticker album : Collect hundreds of unique stickers to complete beautiful albums. Chat and meet other players on the Monopoly Go group! France.
- Daily Events : Daily tournaments and ever-changing mini-games are set up to earn even more rewards and connect with the global Monopoly community. From limited-time Lucky Cards to multi-day milestone events, there’s always something new to discover.
