Lidl has given the Monsieur Cuisine food processor a decisive improvement. The result is the new variant with the addendum connect trend. For a short time you can get them with a 50 euro discount.

With previous models of the Monsieur Cuisine food processor, the heating element could cause problems. Lidl addressed this problem some time ago and launched the Monsieur Cuisine connect trend, a version with a modified heating element. You can now get this version for a small price for a short time only.

Over 500 recipes including step-by-step instructions, a WLAN interface with access to a free online recipe database and an 800-watt motor for kneading and chopping – the Monsieur Cuisine connect trend offers pretty much everything that a good kitchen helper needs. Operating the device requires some training, but is then easy to do using the 7-inch touch display.
The smart food processor helps you with many different cooking processes and in some cases almost completely relieves you of the preparation of meals. Kneading, steaming and frying are the three integrated automatic programs. You use the timer to set the duration of processes, and thanks to 10 speed levels including a turbo function, you can also process harder ingredients.

Is the deal good?
In general, you get a solid food processor for the price quoted, which, thanks to a newly installed heating element, also at least largely eliminates one of the biggest problems of previous Monsieur Cuisine devices. Consider that Lidl’s Monsieur Cuisine devices cannot quite keep up with high-end food processors such as the Thermomix in terms of quality and performance. Nevertheless, they remain a good alternative for a small budget. If you get them at a discount like here, this recommendation is all the more valid.
