The Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 was released late last year, with the very latest version of Wear OS from Google. There have been a few updates since its release, including one that brought Google Assistant to Samsung’s smartwatch.

Now there’s another option for using Google Wear OS with the Montblanc Summit 3. This luxury smartwatch will be available this weekend for $1,260, with three color options available. The titanium, black titanium and two-tone titanium models will be launched soon.

Like the Withings ScanWatch Horizon, the Montblanc Summit 3 looks like a classic high-end analog watch. Beneath that exterior hides a host of modern sensors and technology, including the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100 Plus processor, Wear OS 3.0, 1.28-inch high-resolution AMOLED display, 8GB of internal storage, heart rate sensor heart rate, NFC, etc.

The watch is constructed of titanium material with a sapphire crystal display, water resistance to 50 meters, and a rotating crown with a select button. A leather strap with a stainless steel buckle is present, with another rubber sports strap included in the package so you can take the watch out for exercise. A 22 mm opening is provided so that you can also use other bracelets.

Using Google’s Wear OS system means that Montblanc-specific watch faces are offered as an option. These include the Geosphere, Bohème and 1858 watch faces. All other Google features are provided so you can use Google Assistant, Google Maps, Google Pay, etc. Health and fitness apps from the Play Store are also available as an option.
