For several months, Baptiste (Bryan Trésor) and Emma (Pauline Bression) have been separated in Plus belle la vie. Having managed to go through an incalculable number of hardships during their romantic relationship, the young people found themselves at an impasse: Emma neglected Baptiste and their family too much and the latter then turned to Justine (Maelli Kervoelen)…
When Emma discovered her partner’s infidelity, their relationship imploded… but the more time passed, the more she ended up realizing that she was ready to win back her childhood sweetheart. Alas, Baptiste committed himself elsewhere during this rupture, by assuming in broad daylight his idyll with Justine.
But everything will change in the Wednesday, September 14, 2022 episode of Plus belle la vie (France 3, 8:20 p.m.)! Faced with a question of life or death, Baptiste will be forced to make a choice between the two women in his life and he will decide to… return to Emma!
Firefighters Justine and Jean-Louis (Christophe Herault) are on the call and things go wrong. She falls unconscious in the middle of a dangerous fire! The trainer calls Baptiste for help because he is still afraid of entering the flames. But when the son of Thomas (Laurent Kérusoré) and Gabriel (Joakim Latzko) goes to help them, he is joined by Emma, also in very bad shape…
Emma is indeed stuck in a cabin, surrounded by a fire started by Vanessa (Marguerite Dabrin), the arsonist! Luckily, she warns Baptiste of where she is imprisoned and he decides to run to save his son’s mother.
With the right words, Baptiste also succeeded in remobilizing Jean-Louis. The latter takes his courage in both hands to extricate Justine from the fire. For his part, Baptiste identifies the cabin and hastens to get Emma out of there. He drags her out lifeless. He does everything to wake her up, but she doesn’t react… He loses hope and then she regains consciousness by a miracle!
Relieved, he kisses her passionately reminding her how much he loves her. A thunderstorm begins overhead and the raindrops extinguish the fire. Moved, Emma declares all her feelings to Baptiste and they find themselves in love and united as on the first day… Finally!
