More beautiful life in advance: summary of the episode of Monday, October 24, 2022 [SPOILERS]

In the next episode of “Plus belle la vie”… Kevin Belesta’s day will turn into a nightmare as he has visions of his deceased father.

While Kevin’s day was going to be quite normal, the young policeman will experience a real descent into hell.

When she wakes up, Alexandra discovers that Laetitia always writes Kevin’s first name on her clothes, and that she also does her laundry. She teases him, but the young man gets upset and prefers to go take a shower.

The two lovebirds do not have the same work schedule today. They will just pass each other. Before leaving, Alexandra apologizes to Kevin for what she said earlier. On the verge of tears, he confides to the young woman that he and his mother grew much closer after Jérôme’s death.

If he leaves, he feels like he’s letting her down and betraying his father. He feels responsible for his mother. Alexandra then points out to him that Laetitia seems to be an independent and solid woman.

She tries to make her boyfriend understand that he is not her father and that he cannot replace him. Kevin is aware that he is putting pressure on himself, but he finds that his mother never asked him to leave either.

Back home, he suggests that his mother go eat at the restaurant to have a chat, but she replies that she unfortunately doesn’t have time. He then asks his mother how she would feel if he decided to leave the house. Laetitia thinks it would be in the order of things. He must start flying on his own. But once alone, she hardly acknowledges the blow.

On the Place du Mistral, Kevin calls Emilie to ask her to join him in an hour at the Marci. Barely hung up, he sees the ghost of his father sweeping the place.

Kevin has made his decision: he is going to leave with his mother. So he asks Emilie if there are any rooms left at the roommate. Fanny not coming back for several months, there is definitely a place in the apartment. Emilie is very surprised to learn that Kevin is finally ready to leave. She is happy for him.

The young policeman confides in him that he feels guilty, but Emilie reassures him by pointing out that he is not going to the other side of the world. She thinks he is right to leave and offers him to come and visit the roommate.

That’s when Kevin once again sees his father’s ghost. It is Sylvia who takes care of showing him the apartment. But Kevin sees his father once again and decides to wait a bit before making a decision.

The young man then goes to his father’s grave. He confides in Jérôme that he hesitates to leave the house and leave Laetitia alone. It is then that he appears behind him. He reassures him by telling him that everything will be fine for his mother.

He encourages her to live her life. Jerome then tells his son that he is proud of him and gives him his blessing regarding his relationship with Alexandra. The most important thing for him is that his child is happy. But Kevin wonders if his father’s appearances mean something bad is about to happen.

The young man then goes to see Alexandra at the police station to tell her that he has made the decision to leave his mother’s house to settle in the roommate. She is happy for him. At the end of her shift, Alexandra leaves him the keys to her apartment and he plans to go see her the next morning at her house to bring her croissants.

Ariane and Patrick are back at the police station after a mission during which they arrested a robber. Kevin is instructed to put him in the cell but he continues to see his father’s ghost.

In front of the cell, the suspect hits the policeman and tries to strangle him. Kevin manages to defend himself and Boher intervenes. He then asks the young man to go home to decompress, but he refuses because the police station is understaffed.

A little later, during a patrol, Kevin sees a man snatching a bag from the hands of a woman. He chases her into a parking lot. He then makes a request for reinforcements and once again sees the ghost of his father who shakes his head “no”.

But Kevin decides to continue his chase. After several minutes of searching, the policeman sees the suspect hiding behind a car. But as he prepares to intervene, the parking lot lights go out. He hears two shots and shoots in the direction of the suspect.

Once the light returns, he sees the suspect on the ground, injured, the stolen bag at his side. But, despite his research, Kevin fails to find his attacker’s weapon. He panics and begins to realize that he may have committed a police blunder.
