On July 21 in Plus belle la vie (France 3, 8:20 p.m.), Ariane comes to the aid of Éric, Kilian and Lola trap Gabriel and Baptiste and Justine set off on the trail of an arsonist…

In the episode of More beautiful life from Thursday, July 21, 2022, Éric (Régis Maynard) has to return to Marseille, but he hesitates to leave Simon (Julien Ellenrieder) alone. The cistern is still empty, and the farmer is starting to run out of water for his animals. Éric advises him to go put pressure on Malard, who intentionally blocks the flow of water in the irrigation canal, but Simon prefers to opt for the gentle way, for fear of damaging his relationship with his neighbour. Arriving at the police station, Éric surprises Vautrin in the middle of an escape attempt and knocks him out from behind to put him out of harm’s way. The incident makes him realize that he did well to change his life, even if Ariane (Lola Marois) does everything to convince him to come back. The young woman also asks him to accompany her to a drink to celebrate her 15-year career. Éric accepts, on one condition: Ariane must help put pressure on Malard, Simon’s neighbor. To fix the problem, Ariane poses as an inspector and threatens Malard to punish him for his infractions. The farmer promises him to put himself in order quickly.

Kilian (Tim Rousseau) had promised to speak to Thomas (Laurent Kérusoré) and Gabriel (Joakim Latzko) so that Lola (Marie Mallia) could leave to bivouac alone, but he still hasn’t done so. To change his sister’s ideas, he offers to accompany him to the gym, but Lola doesn’t feel like it. All that interests him is to get away from Marseille to turn the page on Noé (Florian Lesieur). Eventually, Kilian decides to talk to Gabriel. But instead of telling him the truth about Lola’s intentions, he pretends that she has found a job in an animal shelter. He even creates an email address so that Gabriel can exchange with the director of the refuge. Learning that Lola will not be going on vacation with them, Gabriel does not hide his disappointment but agrees to send an email to the director to talk about it with her. After having exchanged with the latter, he tries to convince Thomas to let his sister go, but the latter is inflexible. Nevertheless, at the end of the day, Gabriel sends a message to Lola to give her permission to leave. Delighted, the teenager thanks her brother for his help.
