More beautiful life: this flagship actress was not contacted by TF1 to return to the sequel

As the start date of filming for the sequel to “Plus belle la vie” is fast approaching, Julienne Chêne, who played Juliette Frémont in the first seasons of the soap opera, admitted that she had not been contacted by TF1 to return.

Last July, after many months of rumors, TF1 announced that Plus belle la vie would rise from the ashes on its antenna. At the beginning of 2024, the inhabitants of the famous fictional district of Mistral will sign their big return to the small screen for this sequel eagerly awaited by fans.

During this announcement, the channel revealed the names of the few actors who will return to Plus belle la vie. Sylvie Flepp (Mirta Torrès), Léa François (Barbara Evenot), Stéphane Hénon (Jean-Paul Boher), Cécilia Hornus (Blanche Marci) and Laurent Kérusoré (Thomas Marci) have thus been announced.

Marwan Berreni, who for many years camped with Abdel Fedala, is also expected to return, although his legal problems could possibly jeopardize this return.

If the production has already announced that other emblematic actors should be added to this list, there are certain actors who will not be present at the Mistral for the sequel to Plus belle la vie. This is the case of Rebecca Hampton (Céline Frémont) who has announced that she wants to move on after having held one of the main roles for 18 seasons.

And according to information from our colleagues at Entertainment TVit will not be the only one of the Frémont clan to be absent subscribers since Juliette Chêne, who camped Juliette, the sister of Céline and the daughter of Charles Frémont (Alexandre Fabre) should not return either.

Present in the series between 2004 and 2008, the actress had decided to leave the series to embark on new projects. A departure that was by no means definitive since her character returned during an episode in June 2012, which saw Juliette and her father reconcile after years of tension.

Since then, Juliette Chêne has notably played in Tomorrow belongs to us and Camping Paradis, where she has been camping since 2021 Stéphanie, the companion of Tom (Laurent Ournac). Asked about a potential return to the sequel to More beautiful life, the actress told our colleagues not to have been contacted by TF1.

Afterwards I will be delighted that my character returns, even for a small intrigue”, she explained. “I loved playing in Plus belle la vie, it’s a series for which I have a lot of affection. I was very sad that it ended. I haven’t been there for years, but people talk to me about it every day on the street. After what it will look like, I have no idea…

Juliette Chêne being one of the faces of TF1 fiction, there is of course a chance that the production will call on her for a few episodes once Plus belle la vie will be relaunched.
