While waiting for The Sims 5, which does not seem ready to show up, the fourth opus continues to enrich its experience. Maxis definitely doesn’t want to move on completely to something else. This isn’t the first time the game has offered free content. This was already the case with, for example, the “First Pet” stuff kit. We are clearly dealing with opportunities that should not be missed, especially since they are often limited in time. This time you have the opportunity to recover the “Outdoor” stuff kit, without heating the credit card. If you want to brighten up your Sims’ lives a little in your garden, this is exactly what you need.
As its name suggests, this DLC leaves the Sims’ home and heads for fresher air. And more precisely that of your garden. Thanks to this kit, you can install water slides and completely personalize your outdoor space. You have colorful decorations on hand to embellish the setting, like multi-colored patio furniture, but also beautiful objects like a chime or a bird feeder. You have to admit, it’s pretty good. In this case, you have until April 13, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. to obtain it, at no additional cost. Otherwise, you will have to pay €9.99. Well, it’s not an astronomical amount either, but between that or paying nothing, we’ve made our choice. In any case, it’s an excellent time to return to The Sims 4. It also allows us to forget the absence of an official announcement for Project Rene. Fingers crossed for this year.
A new patch has been deployed
In addition to this attractive offer, The Sims 4 recently received a small update. On the menu, performance optimization, but not only that. EA also appears to have prevented some Emotions from being unintentionally deleted when loading the title. Still with the idea of fixing bugs, the item selector UI should no longer bug during interactions like “Give”. Likewise, if a tooltip appears when hovering over an item in the inventory, there will normally no longer be a crash. At least, that’s what we hope.
