One week before the expected announcement of the Galaxy Watch 6, we know more about the formats offered as a leaker shared many images of Samsung watches.
Just a week before the announcement of Samsung’s next connected watches, we now know more about the Galaxy Watch 6, whether it’s the format and sizes of the two versions, their design or even a model apparently aimed at businesses.
As reported by the site 9to5Google, the leaker SnoopyTech has shared in recent days, on Twitter, new information about Samsung’s digital toquantes. He thus published a tweet in binary which, once translated, links to a page of the imgur site where more than 80 marketing renderings of the different Galaxy Watch 6 are hosted. 6 standard like the Watch 6 Classic model, the small models like the large ones or the different colors that should be offered by Samsung.
In a second message posted on Twitterthe leaker also suggests that Samsung will launch a “ Galaxy Watch 6 for Business “. If SnoopyTech does not give more details, we imagine that the Korean manufacturer could offer, in certain countries, an offer specially intended for the fleets of companies who would like to use a connected watch in a professional setting. Nothing indicates, however, that it will be a model specially designed for the professional world, distinct from the Galaxy Watch Watch 6 Classic and Standard.
Different formats for each watch
Last leak about the Galaxy Watch 6: the different formats offered. Here too it is9to5Googlewho enlightens us by relaying an image shared on a Korean e-commerce site. You can discover the eight variants that should be offered by Samsung – excluding the different colors – as well as the sizes offered. Unsurprisingly, each watch should thus be available in a Bluetooth+Wi-Fi version, but also in a Bluetooth+Wi-Fi+4G version.
In terms of formats, Samsung should offer two case sizes for each model:
- Samsung Galaxy Watch 6: 40 or 44mm
- Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic: 43 or 47mm
This information corroborates previous leaks in recent months and suggests that, if Samsung will indeed maintain a format similar to models of previous generations, the manufacturer will however indeed enlarge their screen to offer thinner borders.
We will know more about the new connected watches from Samsung at the Galaxy Unpacked conference scheduled for Wednesday, July 26. Samsung should also take advantage of the event to unveil its two new folding smartphones, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5.
