If you’ve already played through the story mode in Mortal Kombat 1, you may want to turn your attention to the new single-player mode “Invasion”. You start an adventure with a character of your choice and explore a board game-like map.
Each season offers specific invasion forces and a new season boss. Scorpion is currently the final opponent of the first season. X user (formerly Twitter) thethiny has now shared a list of the next four season bosses.
Upcoming Season Bosses
In the overview below we have put together the upcoming season bosses for you. Each of these bosses follows a specific theme, which is why you can expect theme-specific rewards.
- 2nd season – Nitara – Theme: Blood
- 3rd season – Raiden – Theme: Thunder
- 4th season – Mileena – Theme: Hybrid
- 5th season – Sub-Zero – Theme: Cryomancer
Since the current invasion season ends on October 31st, it will only be confirmed on November 1st whether the information from the leak is correct. Of course, we will inform you if Netherrealm Studios makes an announcement about this beforehand.
