  • Mortal Kombat 1 apparently has a download size of 140.1 gigabytes.
  • This makes the game more than twice as big as the previous title.
  • This also exceeds the download size of Starfield.

Mortal Kombat 1, the reboot of the Mortal Kombat series, is coming out soon. The fighting game will be available for PC, Nintendo Switch, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S from September 19th.

So far you have already learned which system requirements your PC must meet so that you can play the upcoming game from Netherrealm Studios without any problems. There are now further clues that reveal, among other things, the download size of the title.

Download size

As can be seen in the screenshot from X user (formerly Twitter) _kingshango__, Mortal Kombat 1 apparently requires 140.1 gigabytes of storage space. This makes the title more than twice as big compared to its predecessor Mortal Kombat 11.

This means that the upcoming fighting game also surpasses the recently released sci-fi epic Starfield, which is around 125 gigabytes in size.

If you have enough storage space available and would like to pre-order the game, we will tell you which editions are currently available. As usual, you can find information about other upcoming games in our gaming release list.
