In Mortal Kombat 1 you can change the appearance of your characters using skins. One of the examples of this is the Jean-Claude Van Damme skin for Johnny Cage, which you get when you purchase the Premium or Collector’s Edition. So far, Netherrealm Studios has not revealed any details about the skin’s appearance.
However, this changes due to an appearance by developer Ed Boon on the YouTube show Hot Ones, where the development studio presented the skin for the first time. The X user (formerly Twitter) unCAGEDgamez has already shared an excerpt from the video.
Jean-Claude Van Damme skin
In his conversation with Sean Evans, the show’s host, Boon reveals, among other things, that you can give Johnny Cage not only the look of Jean-Claude Van Damme, but also his voice.
However, it is currently unclear whether Netherrealm Studios is only using his voice for the skin or also for other scenes in the game. In the video, more precisely at minute 5:52, you can take a look at the new look for Johnny Cage.
In addition to Jean-Claude Van Damme, there are also other actors who will appear in the upcoming fighting game. For example, the development studio previously revealed that Megan Fox would lend her voice to the fighter Nitara.
