“The midwife keeps telling me that it takes nine months to have a child and nine months for his body to recover! What if I didn’t want to wait nine months?” asks the young woman. If Marlène Yris seems to have difficulty accepting herself, her son reminds her everything she’s been through. “My greatest consolation is looking at my son and thinking that without him all of this wouldn’t have been possible.
