They must have been terrible minutes. On Friday around 3:30 p.m., a child (5) went under in a hotel swimming pool in Serfaus (Landeck district). The mother (49) wanted to slide down a water slide with her two sons (twins). One son slipped first, the mother followed with the other after waiting for the traffic light. The mother could no longer find her son in the collecting basin. Finally, after a short time, she discovered him floating unconscious on the bottom of the adjacent swimming pool and pulled him out of the water. Taken to clinic When the child was pulled out of the water, he was neither conscious nor had a pulse. However, the five-year-old’s mother, a trained nurse, was able to revive him with the help of another nurse! After initial treatment, the child was then taken to the Innsbruck clinic by emergency helicopter.
